Dr. Carolette Norwood examines the implications of violence on Black women’s sexual health in Cincinnati. Drawing on twenty-five in-depth, semi-structured interviews with African American women residing in one of the highest STI/HIV-prevalent neighborhoods in the Cincinnati Statistical Area, she discusses why place matters for women’s health and well-being.
