ARCHIVING ACTIVISM: ARIEL SHAW

Ariel Shaw frames her daily and digital activism on both Facebook and her blog “Diary of a Mad Black Trans Girl” as a forthright defiance of respectability. She is committed to working towards accessibility to the arts for working-class Black youth in Cincinnati and transforming the city though increased representation in the arts.
