Dr. Carolyn Mazloomi discusses the inspiration for and purpose of creating art in relation to both the quilts she creates and exhibitions she curates. She describes establishing the Women of Color Quilters Network, a non-profit organization she founded in 1985 to foster and preserve quiltmaking among women of color.
